Dolphin Cruises

The dolphin cruise families come back for.

Spend 40% more time on the water with two hours on the Atlantic. Wild dolphins in their natural habitat. A spacious vessel built for comfort and easy memories.

Since 1985, Hurricane Fleet has been taking families offshore to see dolphins the way they’re meant to be seen. In open water, not behind glass.

See Dolphins the Way They're Meant to be Seen

There’s something different about seeing dolphins in the wild.

Without the tanks or the trainers. No scheduled feeding times.

Just the Atlantic Ocean, and dolphins moving the way they were designed to.

Our cruise begins with a scenic ride through the inlet before heading into open water along the Carolina coastline. As we cruise, our captain searches for pods known to frequent these waters, especially when shrimp boats are working nearby.

When the shrimp boats are running, we’re often able to pull alongside and watch dolphins feed naturally behind the nets. It’s an unforgettable sight for kids and adults alike.

Bring your camera. This is the moment everyone leans over the rail at once.

The Original Myrtle Beach Dolphin Cruise, operating since the early 1990's

Can't recommend enough!

We had an amazing time. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and we saw so many dolphins.

My son said it was the best time of his life.

What to Expect

The Route

We depart from our marina and cruise through the inlet into the Atlantic. Once offshore, the captain searches known dolphin areas along the coastline and near shrimp boats when active.

Dolphin Sightings

Dolphins are wild animals, so no one can guarantee behavior. What we can say is that sightings are common, and our crew knows these waters well.

Onboard

Our naturalist shares insights about dolphin behavior and local sea life. When shrimp boats are running, you may see marine creatures brought up in the nets for an up-close look.

Duration

Spend 40% more time on the water than with other boats. Two full hours of time at sea. Long enough to feel like a real ocean adventure, short enough to stay fun and manageable for kids.
